| Kenneth Alness has been appointed the new CEO of Lantmännen
BioAgri AB. He will start his new role on 1 October, taking over from
the current CEO Peter Annas, who will become the CEO of the plant breeding
and seed company SW Seed on 1 October. Kenneth Alness previously worked as the head of R&D at Lantmännen Energi. Kenneth has also worked with business development at Lantmännen BioAgri AB in recent years and before this worked as the head of R%D for the Lantmännen group. Kenneth Alness came to the Lantmännen group from Spraying Systems, a company based in the United Kingdom. “Kenneth Alness has extensive experience of research and development, particularly business development. His solid leadership experience and focused working methods are extremely positive for the company, which is currently at an exciting stage with several new products in the final phase of development. I feel very confident about handing everything over to Kenneth Alness and I’m convinced that he will work with the employees to develop the company and its products in an admirable way,” says Peter Annas. Lantmännen BioAgri AB’s business concept is to develop and sell products based on micro-organisms for biological control and plant growth stimulation within the agricultural sector. The company currently produces Cedomon and Cerall, two biological seed treatment products for cereals on the European market, as well as several exciting products in the final stage of development. |

Kenneth Alness is 52 and lives outside Knivsta, Sweden with his wife and his two sons, aged 9 and 11. Kenneth is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry. In his free time, he is interested in the outdoors as a whole, and in particular skiing and orienteering. Kenneth also enjoys being technically creative for his home, family and friends.
